Peter Dinklage & Jason Momoa To Pair-Up in New Buddy-Comedy with Vampires
As much as we would all like to forget the sh*tshow that was Game of Thrones Season 8, that memory is engrained into our subconscious and there’s nothing we can do about it. However, maybe this new action buddy-comedy starring the show’s leads Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) will be a cultural reset and repentance for that awful season finale.
Helmed by relatively unknown director Max Barbakow, the movie titled Good Bad & Undead, will cast Dinklage as a descendant of Van Helsing and Momoa as a pacifist vampire.
The plot sounds promising as far as comedic situations go, emphasising the budding bromance between the two leads as they journey around their town to scam townsfolk out of their money. To do this, Dinklage and Momoa’s characters stage bloody fights and killings in order to collect money for the fake slayings.
With many phenomenal parodies derived from the serious Vampire genre such as What We Do In The Shadows and Twilight (not a parody, but the movie’s really funny), we’re bound to get a few laughs from this upcoming action-comedy, especially when it stars Dinklage and Momoa who have excellent chemistry in real life.
At the moment, no production date has been set and judging by the seriousness of the current pandemic, I’d say we should hibernate like Alucard while awaiting any more updates.
