Listen up bingers; if you aren’t already addicted to Stranger Things like I am, get your comfortable PJs ready, cause Netflix is bringing you a whole new dark and twisted series that will surely keep your eyes glued to the screens and your single life stagnant.

While most of us are already hyped for the upcoming season 4 of Black Mirror (coming 29 Dec), Dark, is receiving major reviews and reactions due to the sadistic nature of the show. For all of you horror fans out there, this will definitely remain on your top series to watch, as the show gives off Stranger Things and IT vibes (I know… that combo though).

The series is in German, but it has an option for an English dub. But dafuq… really? Why take the fun and mood out of the show by listening to it in English. Trust me, you’d enjoy this with just the subtitles on.

The story is set in a small town in Germany called Winden. It is located near the woods, a mysterious dark cave and a plantation. But here’s another thing that will shook, the story began to unfold when 2 kids were discovered missing, and it sets the whole town in a state of uneasiness as the reason to these disappearances are unknown (hello? Will? Stranger Things?)

But the kick to this show? Not only is it more darker and grotesque than the other series; the show sets in THREE separate timelines throughout 1953, 1986, and 2019, and it all occurs SIMULTANEOUSLY. So, if you miss just a minute of the show, I’m afraid you’re lazy-ass will have to rewind back to where you last heard it. Sobs.

I wouldn’t want to give away too much deets about the show, ’cause I think it deserves to be left in suspense for you guys to watch for yourselves. The show is currently streaming on Netflix, and there are 10 episodes for you to get started on.

Not convinced? Just watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
