The Perhimpunan Show recently announced its debut concert, ‘PERHIMPUNAN’, set to light up Bsync Live in Seputeh on 10 August.

The name “PERHIMPUNAN” in Bahasa Malaysia conjures up images of lively gatherings, from school assemblies to civil meet-ups at Padang Merbok.

True to its name, this concert will feature an eclectic assembly of five promising artists from the Klang Valley, each bringing their own unique sound ranging from pop and alternative rock to neo-soul and R&B.

Spearheaded by musicians Mikha Chan, Tengku Suhaila, and Justin Chiew, The Perhimpunan Show aims to spotlight rising local indie talents

“We want to present these artists and their published work the way they’re best experienced: live on stage in a professional concert hall where concertgoers can get up close and personal with them,” said Chan.

PERHIMPUNAN will feature performances from alt-pop outfit RESORT, genre-fluid band TY:DEL, R&B singer-songwriter daude, pop group Blue Nanyoung, and alt-rock act Passenger Seat.
