Ever wanted to get into some cosy gaming without having to download anything?
Browser games offer a lot of (free) options, and one that’s recently caught this writer’s eye is Messenger.
Deliver mail as you wander about a peaceful town filled with little surprises

Developed by Abeto Co., the game has you play as a kid whose job is to deliver mail for the residents of a tiny, sphere-shaped town.
As you go about your delivery duties, you’ll come across a bunch of characters, further adding to your to-do list if you interact with them. There’s no time limit to complete your tasks. In fact, you don’t even have to do anything in particular if you don’t want to.

You can even customise the look of your character, including hair, top, bottom, and shoes. There aren’t that many options, so you might come across another player who decided to go with the same look.
Speaking of which, the game is an online multiplayer, but you don’t have to interact with anyone. Everyone’s literally on the same boat; they have to deliver mail. If you’re feeling friendly, there are various emote options, and that’s as far as communication with other players goes in the game.

The town is big enough to spend an hour or two simply exploring. The hand-drawn art style makes it a real treat to just wander about aimlessly. But if you’re a task-oriented person, you’ll be happy to know the game can be officially completed in under an hour, as long as you have your bearings right.
This writer managed to finish it in just 40 minutes, at a very relaxed pace at that. We imagine you can get it done quicker if you don’t stop to admire the beauty in your surroundings, but where’s the fun in that?
