You Can Pre-Order The New Batch of PS5 From Sony Malaysia Starting Today (16 April)

We know some of you have been itching to test out the PlayStation 5 since it arrived here. Lucky for you, Sony Malaysia’s fifth batch of PS5 will be open for pre-order today.

Sony Malaysia made the announcement on their Facebook page and according to the post, the pre-order will be open on 16 April at 12:01 am, which means those of you who stayed up to place an early order this morning have a good chance of getting it.

The fifth pre-order batch will only be available through Sony’s official Lazada store. Like the last few rounds, each customer can only purchase one PS5, and each console and accessories will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and while stocks last.

Prices for the next-gen console remain unchanged, but for now, you can only get the standard PlayStation 5 that comes with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive at RM2,299. The PS5 digital edition will not be available in this pre-order campaign.

So if you plan to get the digital edition, maybe sit this one out for now. For those looking to get their hands on the standard version, you should pre-order it now before it’s sold out again.
