Trump Tantrum Threatens To Blow Up Iran Power Plants, Bridges

By now you shouldn’t be surprised to see US President Donald Trump talking a lot of smack. It seems to be a favourite pastime of his.

But a recent expletive-laden temper tantrum on his social media platform, Truth Social, has quite possibly revealed that the orange man is finally spiralling after starting a needless war with Iran.

“Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day” are coming, apparently

It’s been roughly 37 days since Iran closed off the Strait of Hormuz following US-Israeli strikes on the country on 28 February 2026.

While a handful of countries (including Malaysia) have been able to pass through the strait safely, the large majority of the world has had to deal with the repercussions of Trump’s war on Iran. And it seems the continued closure of one of the world’s most important waterways has taken a mental toll on the US President.

In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump threatened to destroy all of Iran’s bridges and power plants, potentially rendering the country completely defunct, if they don’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

But it was the wording in this particular post that has gotten people talking about (and laughing at) his perceived mental breakdown on social media:

Calling the destruction of Iran’s infrastructure “Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day”, Trump went on to demand that the country reopen “the f**king strait”, calling them “crazy bastards”.

Strangely, he ended the post with “Praise be to Allah,” perhaps a religious slight at Iran’s majority Shia Muslim population.

His bizarre, childish outburst has gotten a lot of attention on social media, evident in this semi-sincere plea from Piers Morgan to take the post down, due to how silly and embarrassing it looks:

Even the Iranian Embassy in Thailand had some words for the US President:
