The Infamous BAPE Will Open First Stand-Alone Store in KLCC

Streetwear is many people’s go-to for various occasions but if you’re a proper hypebeast, you would know that people either love or hate the iconic Japanese streetwear brand – BAPE. Well, good news for you in the latter, BAPE a.k.a Bathing Ape’s first store in Malaysia will be opening soon in KLCC!

The brand had its heyday in 2006 and became popular among rappers. Flashy, playful and oversized aesthetic of BAPE became an essential part of millennial hip-hop fashion. For those who love the brand and appreciate its history, those feelings aren’t going away just because of new trends in streetwear.

Soon, you can get your hands on the apparel right here in KL and get spotted rocking their iconic BAPE camo pattern too!

The long-awaited 5,245 square feet of retail space for the large-format store will give you a wide range of BAPE gear from head to toe from their Men’s, Women’s and Kids’ lines.

For now, the details on the store’s opening and launch date are yet to be revealed (we’re expecting a big party for this!) though we have the store’s address which is at Lot G12, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.
