It’s worth noting that 100% of the net profit generated from the campaign will be contributed to Hunger Hurts’ meal distribution initiatives, focusing on low-income communities and families in the Klang Valley through programmes like ‘One Meal,’ ‘Feed A Kid,’ and ‘Projek Sekolah.’

Hunger Hurts Malaysia, operating since 2016, has positively impacted over 10,000 beneficiaries across various locations.

Their collaborative ‘One Meal’ programme with RaiseTogether supports small F&B businesses owned by B40 individuals, delivering hot meals to low-income families in the Klang Valley.

Adam Khalid, founder and CEO of RaiseTogether, emphasised the campaign’s significance in fostering community connection and collective efforts.

“Now, more than ever, we need to connect with our communities and keep fighting the good fight,” said Adam.

He added that the campaign serves as a fun and meaningful way to provide relief for marginalised Malaysians facing financial uncertainty and food insecurity.

In a statement, RaiseTogether also expressed gratitude for collaborating with charities like Hunger Hurts Malaysia, actively making a positive impact within underprivileged communities.

“We hope our collective fundraising efforts can sustain their feeding programmes and empower our charity partner to reach out to more communities in need,” it said.
