Puppucino is Now Available at Starbucks’ Jaya One & It’s The Perfect Treat For Your Doggos!
For the longest time, Starbucks has been serving our international furry friends with its special “drink”, Puppucino. Lucky for us, it has finally arrived in Malaysia. So, next time you drop by Starbucks at Jaya One, make sure to order your dog a treat too!
As reported in SAYS, a Malaysian pet owner shared a video of how she was able to get a Puppucino (RM7 per cup) for her corgi named Sushi.
What is a Puppucino you ask? A Puppucino is a very simple thing.
It’s just a small Starbucks cup of whipped cream, made especially for your dog. There’s no coffee, tea, or caffeine of any kind in the cup – just straight-up whipped cream. Although it’s sugar-free, Sushi’s owner warns that it still tastes quite sweet and you should only treat your dog to it once in a blue moon.
With that said, some dogs are lactose intolerant and eating it in excess may lead to bloating and diarrhoea. While your dog should stick to the food you regularly give it (dog-food is debatable here as many believe it’s bad for your dog’s health), there’s nothing wrong with an occasional Starbuck’s Puppucino as a special treat!
A Starbucks spokesperson confirmed that the ‘Puppuccino’ is not an official Starbucks menu item in Malaysia. However, baristas are always on hand to provide their recommendations and customisation options for customers as needed.
In case you didn’t know, Jaya One has four floors that are considered pet-friendly zones, including several restaurants that have dedicated seating areas for owners and their furry buddies. There’s also a pet toilet located on level P1 and stickers on the floors to indicate which zones you can walk with your pets.
Jaya One also has Malaysia’s first (and probably only) pet-friendly shared-office, Common Ground.
So what are you waiting for? Time to jalan-jalan and try out that Puppucino with your best fwen!
