According to Harian Metro, the National Security Council (MKN) announced that the reopening of barber shops and beauty salons will be discussed this Saturday.

In a conference in Putrajaya yesterday, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the standard operating procedure (SOP) will be laid out this weekend. From there, the decision will be made on whether businesses like beauty salons, barber shops and even night markets will be allowed to reopen.

“There are a lot of subjects to be presented this Saturday. SOP for barber shops and beauty salon has been said to be completed and will be presented in the next meeting,” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“This also goes for night markets as many people have been asking for it to reopen. Although we haven’t seen the SOP for that, we have asked MKN to present it this Saturday too,” he continued.
