Local Man Gets Sentenced To 6 Months In Jail For Threatening To Leak His Ex-Girlfriend’s Nudes

A 29-year-old air conditioning technician named Wan Azuan Wan Ismail has just been sentenced to six months of jailtime by Kuala Terengganu’s Magistrate’s Court yesterday (8 Dec) after pleading guilty to threatening to spread nude photos of his ex-girlfriend.

Magistrate Noor Mazrinie Mahmood ruled that the accused will serve his prison sentence in Marang Prison from the date of his arrest on October 15.

Based on the charges, Wan Azuan is accused of making criminal threats against his ex-girlfriend earlier this year on the 25th of January approximately around 7:48am at a house located in Kuala Ibai, Terengganu.

As of right now, he is being charged under Section 507 for criminal intimidation through anonymous communication and will face a maximum penalty of two-years in jail if he is convicted.
