After appearing at the Red Sea International Film Festival, Jackie Chan has confirmed that Rush Hour 4 is in the works.

In 2018, Chan’s co-star, Chris Tucker, revealed that the franchise’s fourth instalment was on the cards.

“It’s happening,” Tucker said. “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”

However, the director of the first Rush Hour movie, Brett Ratner, will likely not be directing the 4th movie due to his sexual misconduct that led to him being dropped by the movie studio, as reported by IGN SEA.

While there is still no further information on the upcoming director, plot, cast, and release date, everyone is surely looking forward to seeing Chan and Tucker at it again in Rush Hour 4.
