Under LAMC Productions, Foster The People are coming back to Singapore this 30 January ’18 (Tuesday). The iconic 4-piece indie pop band that consists of Mark Foster, Sean Cimino, Isom Innis and Mark Pontius will be performing at Zepp @ BigBox. Now that’s the way to end your first month of 2018!

Everyone and their moms are familiar with the infectiously catchy track ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ – the single made them blow up which led them to take home a Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Song as well as Grammy, BRIT, NME and Teen Choice Award nominations. With their debut album Torches being full of bops like ‘Houdini’, ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Helena Beat’, it’s no wonder why people can’t get enough of them. But after the initial hype died down, they’ve put out album after album that are just as amazing as when they first started.

Foster The People latest album which was released July ’17, Sacred Hearts Club delves into funky, electronic ’80s-style R&B vibe. The album featured the singles ‘Loyal Like Sid & Nancy’ and ‘Do It For The Money’. According to vocalist, Mark Foster, he stated on FTP’s Instagram that it’s important for us to know that they made this record with joy and musical freedom.

He continued by stating, “We live in a trying time right now. Racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, and religious persecution are more rampant than ever. This record was made in defiance against those cancerous ideas. Hopefully it makes you feel as it made us feel when we were working on it – that life is beautiful. And love will always be bigger than politics.”
