Heartbreaking Video of Dog Waiting By The Road for Its Owner Advocates Against Pet Dumping

Every pet owner has either seen or heard about the tragic tale of adorable and loyal doggo, Hachiko.

The story goes that Hachiko waited for its owner for nine years after they passed and it is definitely a story that will bring tears to the eyes of even the most stone-cold people.

Recently, a video was uploaded by Twitter user @lunaaaa72 and it shows a dog sitting underneath a tree as it pours outside, sullenly waiting for their owner to return.

Please don’t ever get a dog if you are only gonna dump it. This doggy has been there in the same spot for months ( rain or shine ) waiting for his owner to take him back.

According to the uploader, the dog had been there for months.

While the dog is fed regularly by a few feeders, it is absolutely heart wrenching to see its downcast gaze as if it is waiting for their owner to arrive around the corner and finally take it home again.

The uploader urges the public not to adopt pets if they cannot handle the responsibility and commitment.

When animals have been domesticated, dumping them by the side of the road is inhumane.

The best solution is definitely to offer them up for adoption or hand them over to a trusted shelter so their health and well-being can be guaranteed.
