ChronicalZ Took Kampung Pandan By Storm After Historical Performance Under TREC KL’s Flyover Parking
ChronicalZ recently teamed up with local designer brand AGAINST LAB to create several one-of-a-kind pieces of merchandise and commemorate the release of his debut album, Professional Overthinker.
On Friday, 28 July, they also held AGAINST X CHRONICALZ pop-up show, a special exhibition where the 23-year-old’s fans got the chance to see their favourite rapper perform live for free.
The show took place at TREC Kuala Lumpur’s parking lot (yes, the one beneath the Kampung Pandan flyover), and featured a number of other well-known Malaysian rappers, including Nakalness, Guccimith, Ichu, Fuego, and Addy Khayal.
A show packed with Malaysian hip-hop fans
In an Instagram post, the Desa Pandan-based rapper shared several videos from the night, including footage of concertgoers filling the event space with lights from their phones.
The crowd was ecstatic as it surrounded the musician, who was performing hits from his latest album, including OVERTHINK, Privacy, and Bagi Aku Waktu.
Needless to say, ChronicalZ’s fans did not disappoint with the number of people who came to show their support, making it a historical show to remember.
“Kampung Pandan never experienced anything like this, yesterday (28 July) was f–king legendary!” wrote ChronicalZ on Instagram.
Other rappers and singers also showed support in the comments section.
“Crazy, crazy, crazy,” commented Guccimith.
“Desa Pandan Legend,” wrote Sxph.
“So proud of you,” said Noh Salleh.
