A new lifestyle destination is coming to Bandar Utama, bringing together dining spots, healthcare services, fitness facilities, retail outlets, and everyday conveniences under one roof.
The Capitol by 1 Utama City Group is set to soft-open on 16 November 2026. The six-level lifestyle podium forms part of an integrated development that also includes two Grade A corporate office towers.
Located near the upcoming BU11 station on the LRT3 Shah Alam Line, the development aims to serve nearby office workers, residents, and visitors looking for places to eat, shop, work, and unwind.

1. A mix of local and international food spots
Food lovers can look forward to a wide selection of dining options, from quick bites and coffee runs to more substantial meals.
Among the confirmed tenants are Kiwami Ramen & Gyoza Bar, South Korean coffee brand Bean Brothers, and South African fast-casual chain Galito’s. Local favourites and homegrown concepts will also be represented by India Gate, The Pantry by Bricks and Butter, Oaks and Ivory, and Nashville-inspired fried chicken spot Fowlboys Diner.
Indonesian restaurant SE’INDONESIA will also make its Malaysian debut at The Capitol, serving its signature traditional smoked beef rice.
Other food and beverage outlets include ZUS Signature Coffee, Ningji, Seoul Espresso, Dodo Korea, Sushi Plus, All About Chew, Anytime Acai, Inside Scoop, Ikat Tepi B289, hétam GO, Pulau Ketam Yong Tau Foo, and Old Nanyang Coffee.
For everyday grocery runs, neighbourhood grocer Qra will also be opening an outlet within the development.

2. Healthcare, wellness, and grooming services
The Capitol will house Health Capitol, a dedicated healthcare hub bringing together more than 120 medical practitioners across various specialties. This will give visitors and the surrounding community access to a range of medical services in one location.
Guardian will also be among the confirmed tenants for everyday health and personal care essentials.
Those looking to keep active can check out PUMP Fitness, while Premier Star, Eyez Optometry, and MAC DUNNO + HAIR SALON will cater to sports, eye care, and grooming needs.

3. Coworking spaces and childcare facilities
Beyond dining and retail, The Capitol will offer facilities for work and family life.
Common Ground, Malaysia’s coworking space network, is among the confirmed tenants, providing flexible workspaces for individuals and businesses. Cutie Cottage, an early childhood education and childcare provider, will also be part of the development.
Meanwhile, the adjoining corporate towers will feature modern office spaces alongside The Oasis, a landscaped area spanning four levels of the office podium. Connected by sky bridges, the spaces are designed to offer areas for collaboration and relaxation.

Recreational facilities are also in the pipeline, with Level 16 planned to house pickleball and badminton courts alongside other leisure spaces.
The same level will feature SkyHall, a 10,000 sq ft event venue intended for conferences, exhibitions, corporate functions, and celebrations. However, the venue is targeted to open in the second quarter of 2027, meaning it will not be available during The Capitol’s initial soft opening.
The Capitol by 1 Utama is scheduled to begin its soft opening on 16 November 2026, with more tenants and facilities expected to be announced ahead of its grand opening.
