M’sian Artistes Claudia, Ethan Low & lostspaces To Perform at Music Matters Live 2023 in Singapore
Singapore’s Music Matters Live will return for the 18th year, with 35 emerging artistes from 20 countries set to perform on the festival’s stage.
The music festival will take place for six nights, starting on Friday, 8 September, until Wednesday, 13 September.
The festival lineup
Music Matters Live @ Clarke Quay will kick off the festival on Friday, 8 September, and will run until Sunday, 10 September, with Singaporean singer-songwriter Benjamin Kheng headlining.
Singaporean musicians Nathan Hartono and Sezairi, Auckland’s award-winning singer Paige, and Indonesian soloist Teddy Adhitya will also perform on the first day of the festival.
Meanwhile, local indie singer-songwriter lostspaces will perform on Sunday, 10 September, alongside Malaysian-Canadian pop vocalist Ethan Low.
On Tuesday, 12 September, Music Matters Live will continue at The Ground Theatre at *SCAPE, with eight of Warner Music’s top artistes performing for the entire day.
The stage will be headlined by Asia’s most talented multi-talented DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter SHAUN, with China’s newest chart-topping number-one hip-hop star thomeboydontkill, P-Pop sensation FELIP, and Vietnam’s Indie-darling V joining the lineup.
On the last day of the festival, Music Matters Live celebrates women in music from across APAC and beyond, with Girls’ Night Out and ONErpm Presents: FUNYOUCANFEEL.
Malaysian darling who caught the attention of BTS’s Jungkook, Claudia, will perform on the main stage of Girls’ Night Out, along with Singapore’s own energetic rapper J.M3 and singer-songwriter RENE, Saudi-based indie singer Fulana, and rising star in the Australian music scene BIRDEE.
