Crossbow-Wielding Mom Names Kids After Legendary Metal Bands Metallica, Slayer & Pantera

Celebrities have a weird tendency to name their kids after inanimate objects or even directions on a map. Yes, I’m looking at you Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian.

But most of us tend to stick to basic names that are actually available on keychains.

Well, except for this hardcore thrasher mom who named her kids after the greatest metal bands of all time: Metallica, Slayer and Pantera. Their names are printed on expensive merch instead.

Her story was boosted when David Farrier, the presenter for Netflix’s Dark Tourist documentary, which covers all things weird and disturbing across the globe, posted an article of her to Twitter.

This New Zealand crossbow-wielding momma stated that it’s not easy raising the three metal greats.

Farrier mentioned in his tweets that he’s actually seen the children’s birth certificates and that he’s impressed by the woman’s choice of baby names.

Let’s just hope that the mom and her kids at least receive some acknowledgement from the bands or even some free gig tickets.

If she does, I’ll be tentatively naming my children King and Crimson.
