Learn about what makes the BMW Shorties the most prestigious and longest-running short film competition in the country at The First ever BMW Shorties Film Festival, happening on the third week of December for all you film buffs out there! A cultural initiative by BMW Group Malaysia since 2006, the event has helped numerous local filmmakers spread their wings to international platforms such as Cannes and New York, to name a few.
Following a different theme that’s refreshed annually, 2017’s competition theme is centred around ‘Vision’. This year’s award ceremony however, is set to be fun-filled with not just the grand prize winner announcement, but festival-like activities that include photography workshops and of course, food. Admission is free (ya hear that?), so swing by with your loved ones to this family-friendly event.
