When Charles Manson passed away on Sunday from natural causes, we were surprised with the outpouring of grief by folks on Twitter (what with him being a literal mass murderer). Turns out, they’ve got the wrong Manson.

Fun fact, Marilyn Manson (real name Brian Warner) adopted said stage name as a composite of two iconic American figures – Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, which might explain this hilarious mix up.
