For years, Wonderfruit has been that once-a-year escape. You pack your fits, disappear into The Fields, lose track of time somewhere between a sunrise set and a sound bath, then re-enter civilisation slightly dazed but spiritually upgraded.

That was the rhythm. And if you ask us, it’s still the best festival in Southeast Asia. No debate, no panel discussion needed.

But in 2026, Wonderfruit isn’t just levelling up. It’s stretching itself beyond the idea of a “weekend festival” altogether.

It’s Not Just a Festival Site Anymore

The biggest shift? The grounds don’t go quiet after December. Instead of packing everything into the long weekend of 3–7 December and calling it a day, Wonderfruit is keeping its playground alive for months after.

With Open Fields, its Chonburi home is turning into a year-round playground. Think rotating workshops, cultural programmes, and smaller gatherings happening across the calendar instead of being crammed into five days.

Camp Wonder (18–23 Dec)

This one softens the edges. A family-focused retreat built around play, mindfulness, and Buddhist-rooted teachings.

Field.D (20 Dec)

A single-night drop for the sonically curious. Think experimental sounds, deep listening, and a crowd that actually wants to hear the weird stuff.

Din Daen (29–31 Jan)

This one leans fully into roots. A modern village-style gathering built around Thai medicinal practices and folk wisdom.

As if stretching time wasn’t enough, Wonderfruit is now stretching geography.

With Wonderfruit Chapters Kyoto, the festival takes its first real step outside Thailand—landing in Japan with a more intimate, context-driven edition that reinterprets its “Mind, Nature and Sound” ethos for a new setting.

This isn’t a copy-paste export. It’s a translation.
