UNIQLO’s Clothing Corner at Homeless Transit Centre Provides Working Attire for Homeless Job Seekers
The pandemic has affected many livelihoods but for the homeless, it was daily challenge to survive way before the virus ever made its way to our shores.
In light of their plight, UNIQLO Malaysia has launched its very first UNIQLO store at the Kuala Lumpur Homeless Transit Centre at Titiwangsa to aid those trying to get back on their feet again.
As posted on Uniqlo Malaysia’s Facebook, the homeless will now have access to not just work attire but also sportswear and casual attire, pre-worn and donated by generous customers.

This not only helps the homeless but also promotes sustainability in fashion. Customers who are interested in giving away their old UNIQLO clothes can always drop them off at the store’s recycle boxes which are located in all outlets nationwide.
The staff from the store will sort them out and redistribute the pieces that are in good condition to the homeless society.
