Twitter User Creates Hilarious Vaccination Ads Using Classic M’sian Film References
With all the anti-vax rhetoric circulating the internet (especially in Mak Cik Bawang groupchats on Whatsapp), someone has to break through the surface to show that vaccinations are not evil and it will not turn us into zombies.
Well, not all heroes wear capes. Some are just really good at copywriting.
Twitter user @AshraffMokhtar recently went viral for his hilarious vaccination ads that reference some of Malaysia’s most iconic films.
Here is a rundown of some of our personal favourites:
Cult-classic P. Ramlee film Madu Tiga… Jamil, Jamil
The dialogue from Adnan Sempit 2 that all zoomers have memorised
Bront Palarae schools us on the vaccine. An homage to Terbaik Dari Langit
Susan Lankester appreciates the meme inspired by one of the horniest Malaysian movies from the ’80s, Mekanik
Kan? TQ @AshraffMokhtar for creating this 🙏🏻💟 pic.twitter.com/i1W72aOh9u

Despite the arguably morbid and divisive topic of vaccinations, Ashraff has definitely lightened the mood and brought us all together through the thing Malaysians can unite with the most, our cinema.
Should Khairy Jamaluddin start rolling these out instead?
