I guess it is true… Shrek is love, Shrek is life.

Shrek is strangely memetic and thanks to that video and other countless memes of the world’s favourite swamp-dwelling, green ogre, a new fan remake of Shrek is slated for a full release.

The film looks like an acid trip down in a swamp – it’s bizarre and weird as hell. With over 200 creatives retelling the story of Shrek, the many different visual styles and amateur voice acting makes up for a good time (we hope). Check out the trailer below:

We know it’s going to be a crazy ride and will be proof that meme culture is alive and well in 2018 even as copyright infringement laws get tighter. You can watch it when it’s fully released via 3GI on 29th November 2018.
