Thai Fighter Who Competed in a Muay Thai Tournament in Kelantan Died of Brain Haemorrhage

After competing in the Ambang Merdeka Muay Thai Championship 2022 on Friday at the Kolej Uniti Kota Bharu field in Kampung Che Deris, Badang, a Thai Muay Thai boxer had a brain haemorrhage and died.
A 29-year-old Malaysian muay thai fighter from the Kuala Lumpur Red Army Club defeated the victim, a boxer from Chumpong, Thailand, during the tournament.
Kittichai Chaengkhao, 28, passed away yesterday at 10:57 a.m. at Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital, here, after being treated in the hospital’s emergency room. The hospital’s acting police head, Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun, confirmed the death.

“The unconscious victim was first brought to the Badang Health Clinic about 1 a.m. yesterday, but was then rushed to the hospital’s emergency unit where he died yesterday morning,” said Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun.
Muhamad Zaki said the deceased, a married father of one, was carried to the Rantau Panjang Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex at 8 p.m. yesterday to be released to his family.
