WATCH: Siti Nurhaliza Stuns M’sians With Masterful Rendition Of ‘Munbe Vaa’ At AR Rahman Concert
She’s a businesswoman, an actress, a natural born performer who reads news like a seasoned reporter; and now she can sing in Tamil too?!
Siti Nurhaliza has long proven her stance in the Malaysian entertainment scene, and the beloved artist has once again claimed her irrefutable status as our “multitalented queen” with her cover of Munbe Vaa (Come before/ in front of me) at AR Rahman’s concert last Saturday (January 28).
Her performance at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium garnered a standing ovation from the crowd, which comprised over 60,000 people.
The singer took to Instagram to upload a clip of the special instance:

“I’d like to express my gratitude to the crowd at the National Stadium who cheered me on throughout the Munbe Vaa song. You are top-notch,” she quipped.
She also humbly admitted that she was initially nervous about performing her rendition of the popular Tamil love song alongside Indian artist Haricharan, but ultimately found the experience rewarding- and netizens couldn’t agree more.
Some even stated that they teared up just watching the video, so imagine the sensation of attending the concert and witnessing the show first-hand.
Many were also impressed by the songbird’s natural accent and enunciation of the Tamil words, though at this point, we’re simply convinced that Siti Nurhaliza is pretty much capable of anything.
