If you’ve read more than a thousand books, you’ve probably read a few if not all of Haruki Murakami’s works. Now you can show the world that yes, you really have read them!

The Japanese author, known for his works such as Norwegian Wood, Sputnik Sweetheart and Kafka on the Shore, is collaborating with Uniqlo for a UT collection.

This collaboration of apparel and accessories is inspired by Murakami’s own personal favourite collection of tees which he’s written about, and uses memorable phrases and designs from cover art from some of his famous novels.

Apart from that, the collection also features illustrations of the cat featured on Murakami Radio – the music programme he produces and hosts that is broadcasted on TOKYO FM and other stations in Japan.

The Murakami x Uniqlo collection will be available on 15 March 2021 at selected stores and uniqlo.com
