After found guilty, a man from Santa Ana, US was sentenced to two and a half years in jail for continuously putting his semen in a female coworker’s food, water and belongings.

30-year-old Stevens Millancastro faces several battery and assault charges, as per a 13 October release from the Orange County District Attorney’s office in California, United States, according to Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The criminal worked with the victim from 2014 to 2017, during which he ejaculated several times in his coworker’s water bottles, a jar of honey, as well as spreading his goo on her desk, mouse and keyboard.

Not knowing about Millancastro’s crime, the victim had consumed the honey over a period of time. She also noticed that for three incidents, her water bottles were cloudy and threw them each time.

After the third and last cloudy water bottle incident, she reported it to her supervisor and a security camera was set up in the office, and the culprit was then caught in the act.

“The next day, she touched her computer mouse which was smeared with semen. Millancastro was seen on the surveillance footage entering her office prior to this incident,” according to the D.A.’s office.

The victim then filed a report with the La Palma police department. After investigations into the incidents, Millancastro was arrested.

Millancastro was convicted on 21 September for three misdemeanour counts of assault and two misdemeanour counts of battery during his sentencing on 13 October. Judge Kathleen Roberts, exercising her judicial discretion, has also required Millancastro to register as a sex offender.

“Today’s sentence was the maximum allowed under the law. Judge Roberts’ imposition of the maximum possible sentence and the requirement for him to register as a sex offender is a recognition of the trauma inflicted on an innocent woman who was simply trying to do her job in the workplace,” said D.A. Spitzer.

We all need to play our part and end sexual harassment in the workplace and beyond.
