The good side of MCO is that you finally have time to work on your creative endeavours, but then this horrible feeling hits – surrounded by millions of tools and supplies, nothing motivates you to create, finding inspiration seems more difficult now being stuck at home.

If you’re in a rut, perhaps you can find your muse by going on a virtual museum tour! Google Arts and Culture have partnered with more than 2,500 museums and galleries throughout the world, offering virtual tours of some of the most sought-after collections.

With museums and galleries closing in the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic, cultural institutions are trying to be innovative in offering activities in line with social distancing guidelines.

Through this portal, you can virtually stroll through some of the grandest, most palatial museums anywhere on earth! Finally a distraction for these homebound days that’s not gaming.

While you can walk through the museums by using your mouse, Google is selling cardboard VR sets online that allow virtual visitors the full experience.

Whether you’re looking for inspo or just craving art and culture amid the ennui of MCO – here is your chance to take in the world’s most acclaimed works of art and historical pieces without ever having to leave your couch.

To get you started, here are 5 museums you can check out (click on the names for the tour!):
