Sarah Yasmine Seeks RM832,000 in Damages from Aliff Aziz Over Harassment Act Claim

Sarah Yasmine, 25, who previously claimed to be the paramour of Singaporean actor and singer Aliff Aziz, is demanding SGD250,000 (approximately RM832,000) in damages, reported the New Straits Times.

She alleges that Aliff wrongfully filed a claim under Singapore’s Protection from Harassment Act (POHA) against her last year.

The content creator asserted that the legal action was baseless, especially after Aliff recently pleaded guilty to khalwat (close proximity) charges involving Malaysian actress Ruhainies on 21 February.

Sarah, who is also from Singapore, uploaded a letter of demand against Aliff on Instagram, claiming that his guilty plea proved that all her previous statements were true

“I am referring to your recent guilty plea on 21 February 2025, in relation to the khalwat case involving a Malaysian actress, as widely reported in the Singaporean and Malaysian media. This admission confirms that my previous statements regarding your relationship with the actress, which I have shared publicly, are true and not defamatory.

“Despite this, you have wrongly initiated a claim under the Protection from Harassment Act (POHA) against me, leading to an Expedited Protection Order (EPO) issued on 29 April 2024. This legal action is frivolous and without merit,” she wrote on Instagram.

Sarah further gave Aliff seven days to comply with the demand, warning that she would take further legal action if the amount was not paid within the stipulated time.

Besides Aliff, Sarah also intends to take legal action against several other individuals whom she claims have allegedly defamed her reputation in the past.

“This is just the beginning; for those who have persecuted me during this same period, especially those who have created slander about me, whether big or small, know that I will come for you this year as well.

“You know who you are. Having said that, the truth will surely prevail. I’ve been waiting a year for this decision; I won’t stay silent anymore!” she declared.

In 2024, Sarah revealed that she had received a court notice in Singapore prohibiting her from making any statements regarding Aliff. However, the issue was reportedly resolved through a mediation process in court.

Sarah first gained public attention after she openly admitted to being Aliff’s paramour, claiming she could not bear to see him being severely criticised following his 9 March 2024, khalwat case with Ruhainies.

At the time, Aliff was still married to Malaysian actress and singer Bella Astillah. However, the controversy led to their high-profile divorce on 13 June 2024.
