Popular Vacation Spot, Andaman Resort in Langkawi, Engulfed In Flames

Touted as one of the most coveted honeymoon and vacation spots, The Andaman Resort in Langkawi is a gorgeous getaway. Because of that, the news of the resort being engulfed by flames and suffering from irreparable damages is all the more devastating.

The fire began yesterday and has persisted until today (January 13), destroying the resort’s kitchen as well as permeating to the nearby rainforest.

Thankfully, no lives have been lost as of now.

The fire raged on due to the strong breeze causing an entire block to catch flames. Firemen are still at the scene due to the lack of water resources to extinguish the fire.
