Talent can be inculcated, but it can also be passed-down through generations.
Tokyo-based animator Thomas Romain has certainly passed-down his artistic genes to his two sons. Together, they’ve created some incredible masterpieces.
According to Bored Panda, the French artist currently lives in Tokyo, Japan, where he works in anime production. He uses the skills he’s developed in his career and the fun, unmatched creativity of his children to create unique concept art of characters fit to be in the best fantasy movies.
Currently, he is working on animation titles like Symphogear, Space Dandy, and Basquash! In his spare time though, he “works” on his ‘Father And Sons Design Workshop’ where his kids draw doodles and then Thomas transforms them into professional concepts.
The monsters themselves are very different. Some are creepy and eerie while some are cute and fluffy. There are robots, treants, regular people, and all sorts of mythical beings. They all look like they have just escaped a fantasy book with an epic story!
