Nike & PlayStation Team Up For PS5 Sneaker Release That Can Also Be Unlocked in PS5 Game, NBA2K21
Even after months of its release, it’s hard to get your hands on the PlayStation 5 but while waiting for the next pre-order to open up, you can get by with the all-new sneaker inspired by the console.
The Nike PG 5 PlayStation 5 sneaker was designed by Paul George, who has worked with Sony and Nike for the original PlayStation and PlayStation 2 sneakers back in 2018.
Rocking the PS5 colour scheme of blue and white, the Nike PG 5 comes in two styles. One version will be mostly white with blue accents, while the other will be blue with white accents and feature Paul George and PS logos.
In a PlayStation blog written by George, he said Nike and PlayStation designers, including Yujin Morisawa – the artist behind PS5 console design – worked closely together for this collaboration.
Paul George aka “PG13”, who is a professional basketball player in the NBA said growing up, his love for gaming and PlayStation consoles inspired him to collaborate with Nike in the first place back in 2018.
Another cool thing about the collaboration is that you can even unlock and use it in NBA2K21 game!
