When ticket sales for My Chemical Romance’s long-awaited return to Kuala Lumpur were first announced, it naturally got Malaysians riled up, hoping to secure their own tickets.

But just like that, 60,000 seats in National Stadium Bukit Jalil were already accounted for, and it took just 90 minutes.

If you unfortunately missed out, we’ve got some good news. My Chemical Romance is adding a second night for their stop in KL: Friday, 1 May 2026.

After the tickets initially sold out, concert organiser Hello Universe posted a cryptic teaser, telling Malaysians, “We hear you, the march is not over.” They then followed that up with another post that read, “Ready” in MCR’s custom font.

This was enough to get our hopes up, and now the tease has bore fruit.

Those who missed out on tickets for the first night have been given a second shot to grab tickets at genuine prices.

It’s a much-needed breath of hope after nationwide frustration. From ticketing chaos to inflated resale postings, the first round left many Killjoys yearning for more tickets.

Hopefully with the addition of a second night, Malaysians will be armed with faster internet connections this time around.
