M’sian Girl Gains Attention Of Netizens After Creating A Short Animation For Dua Lipa’s Challenge
Fans of British singer-songwriter, Dua Lipa, must be hard at work right now after the artist announced a new challenge for her fans to take part in order to be in her new music video for her song ‘Levitating’.
The announcement which was on Tik Tok has had at least 207.7k views worldwide, and it also led to 23-year-old architecture student, Zati Syazwina Mohd Jamil from Selayang, taking up the challenge.
Following the video, Dua Lipa had mentioned that any sort of creative ideas or formats such as animation, makeup effects or choreography could be submitted for the challenge.
According to M Star, Zati, who has been doing digital art since 2011, took this opportunity to make a short music video of the song.
Zati, who has been a fan of Dua Lipa since 2017, also told M Star that the reason why she loves the artist so much is because Dua is beautiful and has thick eyebrows just like her.
Being a loyal fan, she attended a Dua Lipa concert at Manchester in 2018, and was supposed to attend another one this year but it was postponed due to the sudden COVID-19 pandemic
So far, Zati’s TikTok video has received a lot of positive feedback from netizens, not just in Malaysia but internationally too, as they hope that her art would get featured in the music video.
Personally, we hope that Dua Lipa will notice her work too, as she did a commendable job and deserves to win this challenge.
