Man Seeking Revenge After Being Rejected Sets Woman’s Car On Fire
A normal reaction to rejection would usually be a curt thank you before going home and re-downloading dating apps but this man took it to the extreme.
Emboldened by the rejection, a 29-year-old allegedly homeless man set a woman’s car on fire in-front of her apartment because she had been rejecting his advances for the past year.
The incident happened at Taman Bukit Serdang, Seri Kembangan at approximately 5:20am.

The fire was noticed by a neighbour who informed the woman that her car was set ablaze. They rushed to the scene and saw a group of firefighters attempting to extinguish the flames.
Serdang Chief District Officer, Assistant Commissioner A A Anbalagan stated that after watching the CCTV footage of the area, they were able to detect the assailant.
The suspect was arrested on the same day. He had no overwhelming criminal records and his urine test came out negative for drugs.
The polis confiscated his motorcycle, clothes and lighter that was used at the crime scene.
After investigation, it was found that the motive for the crime was revenge for a prior romantic rejection.
The suspect will be remanded for 5 days until 10 December and investigated under Section 435 Torture Act.
When the video of the incident was uploaded onto Twitter, many netizens had something to say.
Most pointed out how the phrase, “Just say no” is ultimately redundant when men are capable of inflicting harm even after a courteous rejection.
Check out what they had to say below…
“Why don’t u just say no?”
Not so simple! Women face threats of violence just for rejecting men’s advances. Our report with @ayyputeri shows that even girls get stalked after rejecting their crushes. Don’t blame the survivor, teach everyone respect & consent instead #AWAMSays https://t.co/Hi3P09qVcV
