It seems like Krispy Kreme is doing more for the vaccination drive than a lot of other medical or government PSAs out there.

Starting yesterday (March 22) and running until December 31, spanning the whole of 2021, Krispy Kreme is offering a free glazed donut to any customer that presents their vaccination card at check-out.

The company stated that customers can get this promotion “anytime, any day, even every day.”

Sadly, this is exclusive to Krispy Kreme outlets in the States only. Sorry, Malaysians…

Krispy Kreme brings doughnut shakes to Australia. Is the U.S. next?

Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing officer, stated that the initiative is to support the country and help citizens get vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus as soon as possible.

The promotion is available nationwide in the U.S. and you don’t even have to make a purchase to get a free glazed donut.

In addition to that, to kick things off, the franchise is also offering a free medium coffee with every donut if you come in on Mondays from March 29 through May 24.

Well done to Krispy Kreme for recognising the importance of getting vaccinated. However, let’s hope they don’t have to deal with the increase of diabetes and heart diseases as an after-effect.
