Immerse Yourself in Local Art, Music & Culture at Festival Anak Muda This Weekend!

Although the National Art Gallery is being flocked by thousands of visitors for the iconic Leonardo Opera Omnia exhibition this past few months, we shouldn’t forget about other exciting events happening there. Why not head down to our fave art hub this weekend to experience this unique local arts, culture and music festival?

Thanks to KL Biennale, the Festival Anak Muda will be happening for three days, providing a platform for discussion on contemporary visual arts by young talented artists across Malaysia. It will be a celebration of diversity via activities through social work performed by the youth as well as live music, live poetry, workshops, and talks!

Check out the poster below:

The festival has been broken down into 4 categories that are Pekan Sari Seni, Roggeng Kita, Rewang Idea, and Lontar Kata.

Pekan Sari Seni will be focusing more on youth entrepreneurship that’s based on arts and culture. Roggeng Kita will be a platform for you to jam out with awesome bands like Senja, Shuuna, Jaggfuzzbeats and also traditional performances. You can also find workshops and talks on many topics involving local art at Rewang Idea and lastly, some live poetry at Lontar Kata.
