A photo showing a child pointing a “gun” at a vehicle at Taman Aman Jaya traffic intersection while begging for money, has gone viral since yesterday. According to The Star, this has resulted in the arrest of 11 children at Sabah’s east coast Lahad Datu, alongside their four Sea Gypsy mothers or locally known as Pelahus.

Lahad Datu police chief Asst Comm Nasri Mansor said they investigated the viral photo by sending a police team to the area and that’s when they found the group begging. Nasri also assured that the “weapon” that the child was holding is a toy gun that his mother had given him to play with.
