According to the Sun Daily, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that meetings, seminars, workshops, courses, trainings and conferences can now be organised with strict adherence to SOPs with the maximum of 250 participants.

Some of the many SOPs include no buffet meals for participants and that the organisers must ensure participants wear their face masks throughout the whole event.

“Organisers cannot serve buffet-style meals. The participants must only be served packed food,” he said.

During a press conference yesterday, Ismail Sabri stated that the special Cabinet committee on the Covid-19 pandemic had agreed to allow these activities to be held during the recovery movement control order period.

“There is also a maximum number of 250 participants allowed to attend these events. However, this is also subject to the size of the hall where it is held. If the space is small, the number of participants must also be small. Social distancing among participants is a must,” he urged.

As for registering, participants must download the MySejahtera app to scan the QR code.
