Run or Walk With The District Race Malaysia App & Stand a Chance to Win a Proton X50
It’s hard to just go out there and run a marathon with your family and friends with the ongoing pandemic, and it’s even harder sometimes to just get your body moving at home.
Thanks to the existence of the internet, virtual runs are a great way to revive our passion for running in groups. Well, let’s take that and add some fun to it.
While there’s no way to gather hundreds of people for an actual marathon, AIA Vitality is bringing the challenge to you with their augmented reality virtual run, District Race Malaysia .
The four-month digital event encourages Malaysians to stay active and healthy in the new norm while making it fun and safe.
To get started, dust off your running shoes and download the District app before stepping outside!
You can join the activities wherever you are in Malaysia with the District app and collect points by going through virtual checkpoints and challenges within the time limit.
The checkpoints can be found by simply turning on the app and going outside. These locations will be revealed once you start exploring the area around you, whether a park or just a street.
You don’t even have to run from checkpoint to checkpoint if you don’t want to. As long as you track your progress with the District app or link it to a device, you still earn points just by walking or running.
And what are these points for?
If you have collected over 2,000 points in District Race Malaysia, there is a high chance you’ll win attractive prizes including a brand new Proton X50.
The more points you collect, the higher your chance is to win over 40 prizes including some Adidas gear, a Garmin watch and more! Way better than cold, steel medals!
Be sure to keep your eye on the leaderboard because from 1 March to 30 March, top performers will win monthly prizes, plus three winners will be chosen for the lucky draw with 2,000 points per entry.
Hey, some fresh air and a little sunshine is always good for the mood.
The app is available for download on Google Play and App Store. Register now to participate in the District Race Malaysia.
