Ryan Reynolds Announces Deadpool 3 with Hugh Jackman Returning as Wolverine
Most of us are in a sad slump because we haven’t had Deadpool in cinemas for years now…
Well, it’s time to throw all that sadness in a little box and keep it under your bed for a while because Ryan Reynolds has finally announced that he will be reprising the role for Deadpool 3 which is set to be released in September 2024.
Not exciting enough? Then, how about this…
Hugh Jackman, who we thought had retired his sharp claws and Sid Vicious hairstyle during the final-curtains of Logan, will be reprising his role as Wolverine in this upcoming film!
All hail the illuminati of Sony and Marvel!
The announcement was made on social media by Ryan Reynolds in a documentary-like teaser akin to a person’s religious awakening.
In this video, Reynolds talks about how he had to dig deep to recapture the aura of Deadpool… but he found nothing, so I guess they’re throwing in Wolfie to compensate.

Despite the fact that Jackman and Reynolds have shared the screen before in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it didn’t really matter since Reynold’s smartass mouth was sewn shut and we didn’t get to see Deadpool’s true character until he garnered his own solo films.
Now, we might actually get to watch the two banter and that is a cause for celebration.
Let’s hope Reynolds sits down for another dramatic karaoke of Celine Dion’s ‘Ashes’ because I am personally ready to make it my sad anthem.
