The controversial Azwan Ali also known as DivaAA has never been the one to shy away from his outspoken opinions. In the past, he has gotten into trouble for insulting the staff at the Putrajaya Hospital and was fined RM17,000. He then issued an open apology in court to all Putrajaya Hospital staff.

This time though, Bukit Aman has begun investigations yesterday (20 Jan) into a video clip of the celebrity allegedly trivialising the proclamation of emergency by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

According to Malay Mail, federal CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said the 41-second-long video was circulated by Facebook user Zai Mikail on 12 Jan.

The clip was mostly Azwan shouting “darurat darurat, moklu moklu!”… take a look:

Huzir said in a statement that, “Investigations were conducted by the Special Investigations Unit (D5) under Section 504 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. Azwan Ali was called to the Special Investigations Unit office to assist investigations on Thursday (Jan 21)”.

He added investigations would continue to identify the owner of the Facebook page who uploaded and circulated the video clip.

“The police are calling on the public to be smart and courteous social media users and not to use social media platforms to cause anxiety and threaten national harmony. Stern action will be taken on any individual who intentionally threatens security and public order,” Huzir urged.
