The Queen B Is Back: Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ Album World Tour After a 7-Year Hiatus
The queen is back! Beyoncé announced her first world tour in nearly seven years, where will she be taking her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, Renaissance, on the road around Europe and North America.
Her last world tour was “The Formation World Tour” in 2016 for her album Lemonade.
We know, it’s not really a “world tour” without Asia or Australasia in it. But we’re hoping she will release those dates and details soon.
Just last month in January, Beyoncé gave her first complete concert in four years at Dubai’s brand-new Atlantis the Royal Resort.
With an all-female orchestra, a battery of dancers, a small lake, fireworks, a 50-foot hydraulic platform, three costume changes for the singer, and a guest appearance from her daughter Blue Ivy, it was a lavish and highly theatrical performance for which sources claim she was paid about $24 million.
However, there were no songs from “Renaissance,” a tease that may indicate she will premiere one or two on the Grammys or even save them for the tour.
Beyoncé will be kicking off her world tour in Stockholm on May 10 and she will be travelling across the continent until the end of June. The tour will resume in Toronto in July before coming to an end in New Orleans in September.
Let’s hope that Beyoncé will announce an Asia and Australasia segment for her world tour soon!
