The adidas Originals Pet Capsule Proves Humans Aren’t Worthy

There’s a new adidas drop, and unfortunately for us humans, it has nothing to do with us.

In what can only be described as an unexpected (and equally adorable) power move, adidas has officially dropped a streetwear collection just for pets.

Straying from their usual mission of human-centric athletic wear, the Three Stripes have decided to bless our furry companions with their own Originals collection, because why should humans have all the drip?

Remixing vintage gear into modern classics for our four-legged overlords

The collection kicks off with a throwback to the iconic Cali Tee from the ’70s, resized and recoloured for your pampered pooch and/or sassy kitty. Picture bold pinks, soft greens, mellow yellows, and that signature Three Stripes blue.

And for the pets who are always on the move—or for the human who treats their fur babies like royalty—there’s the Boston Bag.

It’s a sleek, dirt-resistant carrier complete with roller-blind side windows for optimal breathability and discreet peeking. It comes with both handheld and over-the-shoulder straps so you can carry your pet like the priceless treasure they are.

To top off the fit, you can also give your pet a Trefoil-branded collar that screams street-savvy sophistication. But just in case you’re worried about being outshone by your own pet (you will be, so just accept it now), adidas is also releasing matching adult-sized Cali Tees.

Because twinning is winning, even if your cat or dog is now cooler than you.

But like all good things in this world, there’s a catch

This Trefoil pet lineup is currently exclusive to China. It already launched at the adidas Originals store on Shanghai’s Anfu Road yesterday (20 May), with an online rollout planned for 27 May.

So, unless you’re planning on a spontaneous trip to Shanghai or have friends and family there who owe you a favour, you might have to just sit back down and accept defeat. Your pet will still love you all the same.
