adidas are no stranger to making inclusive drip for our furry companions. Earlier this year, they released an adidas Originals pet capsule collection, proving that humans and their fur babies can in fact have matching outfits.

With Lunar New Year 2026 coming in a few months, The Three Stripes have done it again, this time ushering in the Year of the Horse with Chinese-style track jackets and t-shirts for our four-legged friends.

A viral track jacket, now for pets too

The centrepiece of the new collection is a pet version of the brand’s viral Chinese-style track jacket, which you might have seen online, especially on Chinese social media platforms. It blends adidas’ classic athletic silhouette with traditional Chinese detailing.

It feels like something celebratory instead of a costume, which is a good thing. They’ve now scaled it down for pets, and it’s just as eye-catching.

The jackets come in three distinct colourways. There’s a bold, festive red that feels tailor-made for Lunar New Year gatherings, a bright yellow that leans playful, and a calming blue for those who prefer something a little more understated.

Like the human version, the pet jackets ditch conventional zippers and buttons in favour of traditional Pankou knot closures. It’s a thoughtful detail that elevates the piece beyond sheer novelty, giving it a bit more cultural intent.

Aside from the jacket, the collection also features a red track t-shirt, as well as a metallic Trefoil charm that clips onto a pet collar. The t-shirt even has a horse motif in the back, symbolising the collection’s theme, which is the Year of the Horse.

The Trefoil charm is basically the cherry on top, adding a bit of tasteful bling to your pet’s entire fit. It’s subtle but also eye-catching if you know where to look.

If you were thinking about getting this collection for your own pet, let’s just say you’d better have a good friend living in China. It’s highly likely the collection is a China-exclusive, much like their earlier adidas Originals pet capsule collection was.

Plus, only adidas’ China website has the collection featured. So there’s that…
