PHOTOS: Visit The Entire Country Through Miniature Exhibit with Scaled-Down M’sia On Your Next Date
Sometimes going cafe hopping and visiting the occasional fancy restaurant just doesn’t cut it anymore as a date idea.
While we already have a listicle specifically for couples who want to try something different on their dates – you know, because we have to romanticise our lives before succumbing to imminent death – we’re adding another spot for you to check out if you’re “not like other couples”.
Enter MinNature Malaysia, the largest indoor miniature exhibit in the country.
Miniature things tend to bring out something feral in us due to its vehement cuteness so expect your partner to pinch you really hard and go, “Babe, that is so CUTE!”
See, sometimes the smaller it is, the better! But I digress.
MinNature Malaysia provides a safe and relaxed environment for you to take your sweetheart on a “tour” of the entire country without even leaving the city.
Think of it as a road-trip for those with limited funds and strict parents!
It only takes 2 hours for you to peruse the entire exhibit and while you’re at it, you can partake in scavenger hunt activities and even see yourselves in the human figurines displayed.
Prizes can be won at the end of the tour as well which makes for healthy competition for the both of you. Loser buys dinner?
The exhibit ranges from dioramas of iconic Malaysian landmarks to nostalgic and delicious local cuisine.
According to the person behind the madness, who gently refers to himself as Le Grand Architecte, the team behind MinNature Malaysia want viewers to appreciate Malaysia’s rich and diverse history and culture.
There are mini stories told throughout the exhibit but you can make it a game for yourselves to create stories of your own.
And if you’re entranced by the world of miniatures, why not try to create your own through the exhibit’s Miniature Workshop?
For those interested, you can visit MinNature Malaysia at JUMPA@Sungei Wang Plaza where they are open from 10am-10pm daily.
Or check out their Facebook page.
