New iPhone 14 Series and Apple Watch Lineup: Everything You Need to Know Before Apple’s Big Reveal
Last week, Bloomberg News reported that APPLE Inc. was planning to debut the iPhone 14 family and its next generation of wearables on 7 September. Today, APPLE Inc. confirmed the date, saying that the event will indeed take place on the rumoured date.
It was announced that a presentation named “Far Out” will be held in the company’s Cupertino, California headquarters’ Steve Jobs Theater.
The event will be streamed live on the company’s website, a strategy they’ve been employing ever since the pandemic began.
According to a Bloomberg News story, Apple intends to unveil four new iPhone 14 models and three new iterations of the Apple Watch at the event.
What’s New With the iPhone 14 Series
The next iPhone lineup will still have two base models and two Pro models. However, Apple is finally releasing a 6.7-inch variant of its basic iPhone.
Unlike the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, there won’t be a smaller “mini” version available with the iPhone 14 lineup.
The iPhone 14 pro will come with a new 48-megapixel back camera, a quicker CPU, longer battery life, better video recording capabilities, and a revamped front camera system.
Hole punch and pill-shaped cutouts for the front camera and Face ID sensors will replace the existing notch cutout for the iPhone 14 Pro.
Apple Watch Will Receive The Biggest Update
When the new Apple Watches are released, they will include the most significant redesigns to the product line since the Apple Watch was introduced in 2015.
The Apple Watch SE will get a newer model with a more powerful CPU as part of this upgrade.
An Apple Watch Series 8 model tailored specifically to women’s health will have a body-temperature sensor and other improvements.
Apple will also introduce a new, high-end model that will almost certainly be called the Apple Watch Pro.
Even while the Series 8 Apple Watch will appear identical to the Series 7 Apple Watch, the Series 8 Apple Watch Pro will feature a new aesthetic, a little larger display, and a larger battery.
Apple is expected to unveil updated versions of the iPad Pro and standard iPad, as well as new Macs powered by M2 Pro processors, in October.
