By now you should be familiar with Khaby Lame, the guy on TikTok with a signature pose that basically ridicules people for overcomplicating things.

Like every online influencer, people have started imitating the infamous pose in their videos. One imitation in particular, stood out the most.

@nissanzulmelaka posted a TikTok to promote the Nissan MPV Serena, showing how the dual car boot operates and tops it off with the hand pose.

The 10 second clip collected over 4.3 million views, with 140k likes, 1.9k comments and 1.6k shares. Talk about marketing. 

Khaby himself not only took notice of the video, but reposted it with his response.

Several days after @nissanzulmelaka’s video was posted, the internet sensation posted his own rendition of how it should be done.

Khaby’s TikTok cuts in after @nissanzulmelaka’s clip with him disappointingly shaking his head, in true Khaby fashion.

He then proceeded to school the original video, with an irritated expression throughout the video. The caption posted was “If you wanna copy me, do it in a right way!”

What do you think? Is it cringe or creative?

I don’t know about you, but I think the guy who posted the video deserves a raise for that amount of publicity.
