WATCH: Spiderman Gives Out Vegetarian Meals & Chocolate Care Packages To Cheer Children Up
To put a smile on children’s faces during this challenging time, GoCare project manager, Xilas Ngang donned a Spiderman suit to distribute food to people with hope that it would cheer them up.
This time around he included special care packages with sweet treats specifically for the children while distributing vegetarian meal packs to needy families.
Speaking to The Star, Xilas said, “In addition to the food packs, we have also prepared this ‘happy meal’ with chocolates, drinks and a craft pack.
“Normally, NGOs will send out food to the needy but we understand that there are families with kids, so we try to bring some joy to the kids as well,” he said.
The GoCare initiative by Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) has started an awareness campaign called Be MY Hero to support frontliners, charities and underprivileged communities affected by the pandemic.
Xilas was joined by the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Photography Association and Crisis Relief Squad of MCA (CRSM) yesterday to distributed a total of 200 care packages including face masks to the community.
